Our Farm
We love our animals and want to share all they have to offer with you!
Kahtadin Sheep
Katahdin sheep are a hair sheep breed, meaning they naturally shed their coats, eliminating the need for shearing. Katahdins are prized for their lean, mild-flavored meat, and their ability to thrive in various climates makes them ideal for sustainable, pasture-based farming. They have a calm temperament and strong maternal instincts. On our farm we currently have 3 ewes Tilly (4), Splitty (4), Oreo (12) and one ram Aris (2). We are looking to offer lamb meat with the males and grow our herd with the female babies.
Silver Appleyard Ducks
Silver Appleyard ducks are a versatile, heritage breed prized for their excellent egg-laying ability and flavorful meat. They are active foragers, making them great for pest control in gardens and on small farms. Our ducks have a very calm and friendly temperament, and produce up to 250 large, white eggs annually. We will be offering both duck eggs and duck meat.
Wreaths
The blending of evergreens into beautiful wreaths that last.
Weekly Farm Flower Jars
During the summer months we are going to be offering a weekly flower subscription for either delivery or pick up.
Rommney Sheep
Romney sheep are a dual-purpose breed known for their high-quality wool and robust meat production. Originally from England. Romney wool is highly sought after by hand-spinners and textile makers for its softness, strength, and lustrous fibers. They are also known for their calm disposition and adaptability, making them a great choice for small-scale farms focused on both fiber and meat production. On our farm we have two ewes named Maple (3) and Coco (3) we look forward to using their wool for spinning yarn, felting and textile production. The male babies will be offered as lamb meat and the females will be used to grow our herd.
Rouen Ducks
Rouen ducks are a large, domesticated breed known for their striking resemblance to wild Mallards. Rouens are valued for their flavorful, tender meat. They are both calm and hardy ducks. Though primarily raised for meat, Rouen ducks also lay a moderate number of eggs, making them a dual-purpose breed that adds both beauty and productivity to a farm. We will be offering both duck eggs and duck meat.
Vegtables
We practice only organic gardening practices and grow almost every vegetable we could think of. During the summer season we will have an online farmstand and local delivery.
Farmyard Chickens
Farmyard chickens are a vital part of our small-scale farming, providing fresh, nutritious eggs while helping control pests and enrich the soil through natural foraging. On our farm they are free-range while we are home, allowing them to roam and forage for a diverse diet, which contributes to the rich flavor and bright yolks of their eggs. We do have a large fenced in area for when we are gone for long periods of the day that keep them protected from predators. We have a large variety of different breeds of chickens that give us multiple colored eggs.
Wedding Florals
My love for flowers began when I grew my first batch of Dahlias in 2021. This escalated to growing 50+ varieties and finding a passion for arranging flowers. I now grow dahlias, rubella, zinnias, sun flowers, forget me nots, statice and so many more flower varieties. On the farm our flower options are always changing and evolving offering new unique varieties. We tend to blend flowers grown on our farm with locally sorced stems.
Dried Florals
We specialize growing dried florals ranging from Straw flowers to statice.
